Philanthropy Studio is led by Sally Dadmun Bixby, MAT. Not long after receiving her Master’s in teaching degree Sally discovered her love for philanthropy, and in 1988 she began working in the nonprofit sector. Her experience over the past 20 years includes working with organizations serving children, the arts, environmental causes, social services, healthcare, housing, and more.  As Development Director for Our House in Portland, Oregon from 2005-2012, overall fundraising income grew dramatically in order to keep up with the budget that more than doubled during that time.  Sally is an experienced speaker and presenter at workshops and seminars on nonprofit fund development and management. As a consultant, she combines her skills as a teacher, manager, and proven fundraiser to help others build successful, sustainable development programs.

Raising money is a process based on 80% stewardship and cultivation, and 20% fundraising. A strategic program based on research, thoughtful listening, and relationship building is required before a gift is even suggested. Through objective assessment and skill building, Philanthropy Studio’s team of experienced professionals can build staff capability and fundraising success into your organization.
